WYBL is pleased to welcome you to our Opening Day festivities.  We will have our eighth annual Home Run Derby, Concessions, Team Photos and the Parade of Teams!

The Home Run Derby is for all age groups, TeeBall through 11/12!  Purchase tickets near the concession stand.  If a home run isn't hit, the longest ball in each age group wins a prize!  5 Swings for $5.

Come early for better parking and the Derby, and after the ceremony stick around for lunch and some great afternoon baseball on all fields.  Coaches will be contacting players on when to meet up for your picture slot as well as for mustering on Field 3 for the Parade of Teams.

Opening Day Agenda

8:00 - Team Photos Begin, All Morning - Team Photos
8:30 - Home Run Derby begins. Buy tickets near concession and look for field assignments.  
9:00 - Home Run Derby tickets sale ends
09:30 – Teams muster on Field 3 with Coaches, watch for notes from coaches on earlier meeting locations and times
09:45 – Parade of Teams line up
10:00 – Ceremony

Concessions: The concession stand will be open throughout the day, and we have extra volunteers coming to help cook hot dogs and burgers.

General: Even though the day starts early, the sun can be fierce. Watch the weather and be prepared with the right gear - anything from sunscreen to ponchos. Also, as there is some waiting for the players, please remember that your coach isn't your babysitter. Please keep an eye on your kiddos.
